The study was conducted in the municipalities of Saidpur and Meherpur\, Bangladesh as part of a global project on sanitation and women’s empowerment undertaken by the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University\, USA\, in collaboration with WaterAid Bangladesh and Practical Action.
