Through this collaboration, ITN-BUET and FPAB will jointly undertake research, develop training modules, organize capacity-building programmes, and produce knowledge products addressing WASH, public health, waste management, climate change adaptation, menstrual hygiene management, and maternal and child health. The partnership will also promote knowledge sharing, evidence-based policy advocacy, and innovative, technology-enabled approaches to strengthen service delivery and address emerging public health and environmental challenges.

The agreement also provides opportunities for both organizations to exchange technical knowledge, share institutional resources where appropriate, and engage with relevant government agencies, academic institutions, development partners, and other stakeholders. Through joint workshops, seminars, research activities, and professional development initiatives, the partnership seeks to strengthen the link between research, policy, and practical implementation, helping ensure that evidence and innovation inform programmes and services at the community level.

The agreement will remain in effect until 31 December 2028. By combining their respective expertise and networks, ITN-BUET and FPAB aim to strengthen institutional capacity, foster cross-sectoral collaboration, and contribute to inclusive, sustainable, and climate-resilient public health and WASH services in Bangladesh.
