ITN-BUET team led by Prof. Dr. Tanvir Ahmed<\/strong><\/em> has conducted an independent evaluation for UNICEF for the Sweden Embassy-funded project titled \u2018Water Safety for the Wellbeing of Women and Children in Bangladesh\u2019<\/strong> from October to December 2021. The evaluation assessed the relevance, quality, effectiveness, strength and weakness of the two major components (Water Quality and Rohingya response) of the project for the project implementation period from October 2017 to September 2021 by adopting a qualitative approach. Based on the findings, ITN-BUET has provided recommendations for different target audiences of this evaluation, including UNICEF, the Sweden Embassy and the Government of Bangladesh. Some lessons learning have been documented for taking forward by UNICEF and other stakeholders beyond this evaluation.
