The center intends to recruit a young communication professional under the Gates Foundation-supported project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position:<\/strong> Communication Associate<br \/><strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Contractual\/Fixed Term<\/p>\n<p>The selected candidates will initially be offered a three-month contract as a probation period, which may be renewed depending on satisfactory performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong> Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience in related fields<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role and Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Communications Associate will be responsible for design, development, advocacy, communication, and networking relevant to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). The specific roles and responsibilities are below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design training and knowledge materials and make press-ready versions that are visually engaging, innovative, and appropriate for the target audience.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare promotional and publicity materials for training courses and exposure visits.<\/li>\n<li>Design the layout of newsletters, case stories, fact sheets, policy briefs, and other relevant documents.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct photography at various events to capture impactful moments for communication materials.<\/li>\n<li>Develop video documentaries, including storyboarding, shooting, and editing.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in video production, editing, and event photography is an added advantage for this role.<\/li>\n<li>Manage web content updates and social media content creation and curation.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the standard practices and guidelines of ITN-BUET while creating content.<\/li>\n<li>Network with print and electronic media.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Mass Communications, or any other related field.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant field experience will be prioritized.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in MS Office Suites, Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premier are a must).<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with photography and videography tools and techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of creating UI and UX and other relevant design tools.<\/li>\n<li>SEO and social media management.<\/li>\n<li>Strong folio of work demonstrating conceptual thinking, layout design, and effective use of colors and typography.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced capacity for Bangla and English content editing.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>ITN-BUET is an equal-opportunity organization.
