They had no special training to combat the challenges of disasters due to climate change. DPHE wished to introduce a training program for DPHE personnel on facing the challenges of climate change in the WatSan sector. To develop skill manpower on disaster management programs and to ensure appropriate technological options on water and sanitation during disaster, DPHE and ITN-BUET arranged eight (8) batches training programs for DPHE personnel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DPHE and ITN-BUET organized eight training programs to equip class-1 officers with skills for managing water and sanitation challenges related to climate change.
