But in case of higher-level services options like PSF, MAR, AIRP, piped water system and community, and public toilets etc., this is beyond the capacity of individuals to ensure its proper O&amp;M unless the system is in place. Sporadic effort has been made from the sector partner to develop different O&amp;M models, but these are not streamlined due to lack of policy guidelines and lack of common sector O&amp;M strategy. On this backdrop Local Govt. The Division (LGD) formed a Technical Committee to formulate the National Operation and Maintenance Guideline for WASH.
