In this book, it is intended to overcome the drawbacks by designing a low-cost solar lighting system, especially for rural people of Bangladesh, where the performance of the system was found encouraging. In order to achieve that goal, ITN-BUET implemented 30 units of low-cost solar lighting systems in coastal areas of Mongla, Bagerhat, under the Improved Food and livelihood security project. The technical details of the system are discussed in this book.<\/p>\n
