Orientation for BUET Graduates on Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

Course Overview

The Orientation Program aims to introduce graduates to the WASH sector and inspire them to contribute in addressing key challenges in WASH as future professionals.

• Provides insights of water supply, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).
• Equips graduates with knowledge of current WASH practices, challenges and solutions.
• Bridges the gap between academic research and practical applications.
• Orients future professionals on capacity building initiative of ITN-BUET

Course Requirements

Participants should have academic exposure to following key areas of WASH through  relevant coursework in their graduate or postgraduate studies:

•  Water and sanitation management.
• Climate change.
• Solid waste management.
• Fecal sludge management.
