Training Course on Planning and Design of Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant (FSTP)

Course Overview

Effective planning and design of FSTPs are essential to ensure treatment and safe disposal or reuse of fecal sludge, mitigating environmental pollution and public health risks.
This training will equip participants with essential skills to:

• Understand the principles of fecal sludge treatment and planning process for FSTP.
• Select appropriate treatment technologies based on sludge characteristics, treatment capacity and site condition.
• Develop operational and maintenance strategies and management for FSTPs.
