In response to GoB’s commitment of achieving SDG 6.2 target and to cope with the rapid urbanization and solve sanitation challenges as an integral part of urban development, ITN-BUET organized a three-day long specialized training on Inclusive Urban Sanitation during 27-29 October 2019.
21 Consultants from the relevant consulting firms, INGOs including individual practitionres participated in this specialized professional training. The training held at ITN-BUET Seminar Room (5th Floor of ARI-ITN Builing) at BUET. The training course was developed with the support of ConCaD-Eawag, Switzerland.

The course included sessions on the city sanitation situation assessment, tools for assessments, sanitation project cycle, factors affecting sanitation project and services, solutions for sanitation, community engagement, socio-political economy for sanitation, bidding of sanitation projects and successful sanitation case etc. in were delivered by the master trainers of the course.

The first run of the course projected further demand requiring re-run of the course in near future. The participants were highly satisfied after completing the course successfully and receiving certificates & crest.
