While implementing WASH water supply technologies in different Char areas of Bangladesh, Concern Worldwide found arsenic levels greater than 50 ppb in many of their intervention tubewells. The project is being implemented in Char areas of three districts (Bera Upazila of Pabna, Bagha Upazila of Rajshahi and Sadar Upazila of Chapainawabganj district). Through this pilot project, ITN-BUET provided technical assistance for piloting arsenic mitigation technologies in char areas of three districts.
