Social sustainability

Urban informal settlements struggle with inadequate WASH services due to dense, unplanned layouts and socio-cultural constraints. This research proposes a socio-spatial WASH model that combines spatial analysis with user preferences to optimize facility placement and enhance accessibility, safety, and community acceptance. Focusing on Khulna, Bangladesh, it aims to improve living conditions and guide effective interventions for vulnerable communities.
