ITN-BUET highlighted its role and services including the leadership in capacity building, knowledge generation, and youth promotion in the UAP Career Fair 2025. The active participation of ITN-BUET in the event provided the opportunity of showcasing its work and interacting with aspiring students. The fair, organized by the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP), took place on April 26, 2025, at the UAP campus on Green Road, Dhaka. The event attracted more than 20 leading national and multinational organizations and created a dynamic networking platform for students, job seekers, and industry leaders.
As a key player, ITN-BUET performed a significant role by highlighting its expertise in capacity building, interdisciplinary research, and professional development in the WASH, Civil and Environmental Engineering sectors. At a dedicated stall, ITN-BUET presented and disseminated its wide range of research packages, training modules, knowledge products, and institutional achievements to the fair audience. The stall also served as an active platform to collect information and CVs of interested students willing to contribute to the WASH sector including ITN-BUET’s projects, research and studies.
Distinguished guests, including UAP Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Chief Operating Officer of CWIS-FSM Cell, DPHE, Dr. Abdullah Al-Muyeed, UAP Treasurer Professor Dr. Sheikh Anwar Hossain, Dean of the School of Engineering, Professor Dr. G. R. Ahmed Jamal, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering Professor Dr. Nehreen Majed, and other faculty members and students of different disciplines, visited the ITN-BUET stall.
By participating in the UAP Career Fair 2025, ITN-BUET reinforced its commitment to strengthen industry-academia collaboration, empower the next generation of professionals, and nourish future talents and enthusiast to contribute toward sustainable development efforts in Bangladesh and beyond.
