The objective of this project is to develop a compendium of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) technologies in emergencies in Bangladesh with technical detail & drawing (inclusive), geographic  & disaster specific,  costing including bill of quantities (BoQ)

Accelerating Sanitation for All in Asia and the Pacific through Capacity Building

Sanitation and waste workers play a crucial role in maintaining city cleanliness, but they lack knowledge in health, safety, and hygiene practices, impacting their well-being and dignity. The ADB has assigned ITN-BUET to address this issue by providing training to enhance their capacity. The objective is to improve their understanding of disease prevention, hygiene practices, personal protective equipment use, and waste management. This initiative aims to empower workers and create a healthier and safer environment for them.

The compendium will feature technical details, drawings, materials specifications, quantities, and costs.
